Many of you have requested I go ahead and post this chapter about talkative behavior. How can you implement this in your setting?

What a great idea! Kelly Gandy already does this with amazing results. Her patience and dedication to the method make her enormously effective. I'll give it a chance to work in my room.

I love this idea! I will be looking for an opportunity to try this one out. None of my students would want to miss their "fun" time. I am sure this "practice" would get them back on track very quickly!

I love this strategy. If I get the opportunity to use this I will. The private session makes it so much better for the child than pointing out what he is doing wrong in front of his peers. As it did say in the article, if this is done the behavior will usually become worse. I have seen this happen. I have always said practice makes perfect!

I love this idea!!! I have used a couple of times with a few of my students who consistently forget my classroom procedures and it is starting to work! I know that it will take time, but the results will be worth it in the end!

I have never thought about doing this but I am going to try this in my classroom. I know several students that this might work for. Comments are closed.
